Good Earth Provisions was created from a belief that the best journeys deepen our connection to the world around us. Through movement, exploration, food, art, nature, and shared experience, we seek places and stories that inspire curiosity, humility, and meaningful human connection.
From remote backcountry routes to historic towns, rivers, deserts, and coastal landscapes, we believe exploration is not about conquering a place, but learning how to experience it more fully.
Movement reconnects us to ourselves — through trails, oceans, rivers, mountains, ski lines, and quiet walks beneath desert skies.
From remote backcountry routes to historic towns and coastal retreats, we seek places with soul, history, and human connection.
The journey continues around the table through thoughtful food, local wine, storytelling, music, and meaningful conversation.
Curiosity opens the door to deeper understanding — of nature, culture, and one another.
Exploration begins with curiosity.
Good Earth Provisions brings together movement, storytelling, outdoor culture, food, art, and meaningful exploration through curated experiences and thoughtfully chosen gear.
Founder • Explorer • Storyteller
John Brandenburg is an explorer, grower, storyteller, and lifelong student of movement, nature, and place. Through years spent in mountain towns, deserts, rivers, greenhouses, and backcountry trails, he developed a belief that the outdoors can reconnect us not only to the landscape, but to ourselves and to one another.
But the path behind Good Earth Provisions was shaped by more than adventure alone.
Alongside his work in business and real estate, John spent years working closely with seniors and families navigating aging, illness, caregiving, and loss — experiences deeply influenced by the journeys of his own parents. Those seasons taught him that a meaningful life is not built only through achievement or distance traveled, but through presence, curiosity, resilience, and human connection.
Good Earth Provisions was created from that balance.
Some days that may look like carrying a pack into the mountains or skiing through fresh snow. Other days it may mean gathering around a table with good food, local wine, music, art, and honest conversation. At its core, the project is rooted in a belief that movement, story, culture, and nature still have the power to heal, awaken curiosity, and bring people back to what matters most.
Through Good Earth Provisions and The Quiet Path, John hopes to create experiences, products, and stories that encourage people to move intentionally, stay curious, and walk gently through the world.
